Removes VALARM blocks inside VEVENT records only. Calendar defaults, device settings, task alarms and vendor-specific reminder fields are outside scope. This does not silence events already imported into your calendar.

How to use this tool

  1. Open an ICS file before importing it into your calendar.
  2. Review how many embedded event alarms were removed.
  3. Download the copy and test it in a separate calendar. Check that calendar’s default notifications too.

Before you export

Will it remove event details as well?＋

No. Event titles, descriptions, attendees, locations, IDs, dates, recurring rules and time-zone definitions are preserved. Only embedded event VALARM blocks are removed; formatting can change during serialization.

Why might I still receive notifications?＋

Your calendar app may add its own default notifications or use vendor-specific reminder properties. Existing account events are not changed by downloading this file. This tool is not a notification-settings manager.

Does it remove Apple Reminders tasks?＋

No. It works on alarms nested inside calendar events, not the Apple Reminders app or VTODO task alarms.

Uses the iCalendar standard. Keep the original file and test the output in your receiving calendar app.
